Spring has Sprung and it’s Time to Crochet!
With the sun shining and clouds being chased away, it’s the perfect time to bring some vibrant colors into your home using your crochet hook, and yarn stash.
Crochet is just one of those amazing hobbies that keeps your hands busy, and your mind relaxed, as you work through a pattern or make up one of your own. It is relaxing, not too taxing on the body or mind, and gives you a sense of accomplishment as you see your hook and yarn creating something from nothing.

Not everyone can crochet…
It takes skill and a true love of yarn and creating things. It takes patience, and a drive to make it to the end of the pattern. But as with anything in life that takes effort, the reward at the end, is fabulous!
Take Happy Sunflower and his little sister, Mini… you can’t look at them and not smile as they look back at you smiling from petal to petal. They are the perfect Spring pattern to dive into that will make a beautiful springtime decoration for your home, or to give as a gift to a friend.
They could even be added to an Easter basket as a main focal point, that can stay up year round even after the bunny has hopped back into its burrow. I made this pattern well over ten years ago, originally for a co-worker who was going through chemo to brighten her day and be a reminder of sunny days to come.
