J.H. Winter has been writing and illustrating stories for children for more than 15 years.
After getting the publishing rights back to her series TALES OF WHIMSY, J.H. Winter started her own publishing house, children’s book imprint, FRIZZY BEE BOOKS. With the 2nd Editions of books one and two in the TALES OF WHIMSY series now published and available for readers everywhere, she plans to finish the trilogy with Book Three, THE WICKED WANTER, set for release in the Fall 2026.
While she has continued to write and illustrate children’s books behind-the-scenes, she has kept active in the crochet world through her channel, @FrizzyBeeCrochet, where she goes live every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9am PST to hang with the yarn-loving community, catch up, and sip on coffee.
She has a plethora of tutorials teaching beginners how to crochet amigurumi (plushies), as well as tutorials to make many of her original designs.
