Do you LoveCrafts, cause I do!

Excerpt from today’s “Crochet Inspiration” section on LoveCrafts!

LoveCrafts could not have been any more wonderful to work with on this article and tutorial. They are truly a one-stop-shop for the crocheter out there. In the tutorial you will find links to all of the materials you can buy through LoveCrafts if you’d like. They aren’t the exact yarns I used but they were the right colors, so they should work up a brand new Whimsy and Flit beautifully.

Chatting about my love of bringing my storybook characters to life with crochet, was a unique article that I was so pleased to write for LoveCrafts. It’s my niche and something I absolutely love to talk about.

While I work on Book 2 of the Tales of Whimsy, I look ahead to new patterns I’d like to make to share with all of you. The Wishghan is coming along nicely for its upcoming crochet along. Also, I have plans to make additional amigurumi to go along with the next book. Book One had Whimsy and Flit. Book Two will have new characters to add to the mix. If you’ve read the book, any ideas on who I might make? Who would you like to get a pattern for?

Here’s Something to Listen to While you Crochet!

If you’re unfamiliar with LoveCrafts, check out their podcast The LoveCrafts Show as well or you can watch some of the episodes on their YouTube channel too where Merion and Jamie interview fellow creatives. I can’t say enough good things about it! The show is funny and informative, and the perfect thing to watch/listen to while you’ve got your WIP (work-in-progress) and hook in hand.

One last thing…

I was lucky enough to have a spot on yesterday’s School Library Journal, Day of Dialog. I had 30 minutes to talk about my books, do readings, and answer any questions from those who watched live. The replay is now On Demand until December 15, 2020, so if you didn’t get a chance to watch, and you’re a librarian or educator, hop over and give it a listen!
