Louie the Boo-Licious Bat Halloween LIVE Crochet Along Starts Today!
Hello my Frizzy friends!
Today at 11am PST starts another LIVE Crochet Along to make LOUIE THE BOO-LICIOUS BAT, the perfect addition to your Halloween decor! In this 3-4 part (depending on how fast we go) Crochet Along, I will take you from start to finish leaving no stitch out, completely LIVE! You can ask questions along the way if you need to, and by the end of the week, you’ll have a new decoration for your shelf or mantle this Halloween!
You can grab the pattern 3 ways:
- Follow the LIVE from start to finish and work alongside me!
- Etsy: https://frizzybeecrochet.etsy.com/listing/1790972823
- JOIN PATREON (September’s Pattern for Frizzy Crocheters & Inner Hive): https://www.patreon.com/FrizzyBeeCrochet
Here is this week’s rundown:
DAY 1: Head & Ears
Day 2: Wings & Legs
Day 3: Boo-Licious Bunting Banner
🦇 Materials Needed:
– Blanket Yarn (I used Bernat Blanket Brights in the Purple tone but you can make him whatever color you like!)
– Bernat Yarn: White & Black
– Small amounts of Acrylic 4ply Yarn (black & white for the mouth; orange and brown for the pumpkin applique!)
– Stuffing (polyester fiberfill)
– 12mm Safety Eyes
– Yarn Needle
– Stitch Marker
– 7mm Crochet Hook
– OPTIONAL: wiring for the wings or a wooden dowel. I used a thick red coated industrial wiring.
🦇 SIZE: 8.5″ Tall (not including the bunting banner) x 16” Wide
**NOTE: If you don’t have blanket yarn handy, but have a 4ply acrylic yarn, you can make a smaller version of Louie with a size 3.5mm crochet hook and size 6mm safety eyes. The smaller version works up to being 4″ Tall and 6” Wide.
I hope to see you there!!
