Ink & Stitches YouTube Channel / Logo Reveal
I know that Sunday is supposed to be the day of rest from posting for the A to Z Challenge, but I decided this week, today is the perfect day to announce I’ve officially started my Ink & Stitches YouTube Channel!
Here on this channel, I will be teaching anyone with an interest in how to crochet amigurumi, to do just that! We will start by going over each of the stitches most commonly seen in the patterns for these plush toys. After that, I will explain how to assemble and add embroidered details whenever the pattern may call for them.
In addition to the how-to crochet amigurumi videos, I will be debuting my new amigurumi on this channel as well. I will tell you about the process behind how I created the doll, what I made the character for (Etsy shop, book idea, etc.), and where the pattern can be found (if available online).
There will be some fun random videos sprinkled throughout, that could be related to: craft projects I’m working on for the blog; illustrations I’ve finished; and how-to videos on using various materials such as Prismacolor pencils.
I hope you find my videos: fun, entertaining, informative, and perhaps spark a creativity that’s been lying dormant in you all these years.
On a side note, what do you think of my finished Ink & Stitches logo? If you’d like to see the process behind the illustration, see my What I am Working On post here.
Welcome to Ink & Stitches YouTube Channel!

Mmmm must admit taking Sunday off seems such a waste as most of my traffic is on a Sunday, especially if the weather is not great. I never seemed to be able to master crocheting, more of a knitter myself, but will give this a go. Cheers Joy

Congrats on the Youtube Channel Julianne 🙂 I love the logo, absolutely love it! An octopus is just such a good choice at so many levels…
Looking forward to your posts for A to Z and all the best for the channel. I’ve always wanted to try making an amigurumi doll and now I know where I can learn to. 🙂

Thank you, Amy! I am so happy with how it turned out. The minute I decided to make one, I drew feverishly until I had something I was happy with. It just makes my Ink & Stitches brand that much more official 🙂

Thank you so much, Lisa! That was my hope. It makes me smile too, though I’m a little biased. 🙂
